** Traffic Control Laborer**

**Position Summary:**

Seeking Individual to assist traffic control supervisor with a variety of duties associated with traffic control. Must be dedicated and willing to learn and build a career while exceedingthe highest quality of safety standards.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Deliver necessary equipment to all job sites and locations using truck and trailer.

* Keep records of delivery of both time and equipment.

* Coordinate with the superintendents on jobs regarding equipment and scheduling.

* Needs to be familiar with Cornejo plants, job sites, and locations in Wichita and the surrounding area.

* Detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.

* Ability to follow directions.

* Must be able to work evenings and weekends when necessary.

* Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in MSHA policies and procedures manual, and OSHA guidelines.

**Qualifications:**

* Traffic control experience preferred.

* High school education or GED equivalent.

* Valid drivers license required.

* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

* Ability to perform basic math functions.

* Bilingual Spanish preferred.

**Work Environment:**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and is exposed to airborne particles. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
