A Production Technician is needed for a company that delivers photonics innovation to enable breakthrough advancements in technology that transform the way the world connects, creates, and interacts in the Wichita, KS area. A Production Technician operates test equipment, performs repairs, and supports production while ensuring ESD compliance and meeting deadlines.

salary: $21.42 - 25.12 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

+ Support production functions and operations.

+ Utilize automated test equipment for calibration and verification by product line.

+ Make operating adjustments and maintain test units.

+ Identify material or replacement needs and determine a logical repair method.

+ Perform necessary repairs to meet production needs.

+ Follow all Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements to prevent equipment damage.

+ Maintain detailed records related to the maintenance and repair of electronic and electrical equipment.

+ Perform rework on assemblies/systems as required after testing.

+ Prepare technical reports summarizing test findings and proposing solutions to technical problems.

Skills:

+ Knowledge of equipment, policies, and procedures related to local, state, or national security for protection of people, data, and property.

Education and Experience:

+ High school diploma or GED required.
