This individual will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and parents to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality education, a positive school culture, and the overall growth and development of the school community. The Building Principal is a key member of the school's leadership team and will play an essential role in shaping the academic and extracurricular offerings while fostering an environment of respect, spiritual growth, and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Spiritual Leadership Develop a yearly personal growth plan that fosters a vibrant spiritual life including time for solitude, retreat, reflection, study, prayer, and worship.Ensure that all Trinity staff and faculty fulfill their jobs with an awareness of and alignment with our mission and values.Be the visible, present “culture carrier” of the building.Provide day-to-day operational leadership for the school, ensuring a smooth, effective, and supportive learning environment.Develop and implement academic strategies and goals aligned with the school's mission and vision.Lead faculty and staff development programs, including training, mentoring, and regular performance evaluations.Promote a positive school culture focused on academic excellence, character development, and community engagement.Academic Oversight: Ensure the curriculum and instructional practices meet the needs of diverse learners and align with educational standards and best practices.Work closely with teachers to monitor and support student achievement, providing guidance and resources as needed.Foster a collaborative teaching environment, encouraging team-based learning and the sharing of best practices.Oversee the implementation of assessment programs and data-driven decision-making processes to improve student outcomes.Oversee progress monitoring and learning benchmarks of students to ensure academic alignment effectiveness.Promote a safe and nurturing environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic growth of all students.Collaborate with school leadership, academic support staff, and other support professionals to meet the individual needs of students through individual plans and school-wide programming.Address student behavior and discipline issues in a timely, fair, and consistent manner in line with the school's policies.Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, fostering a sense of belonging and community within the school.Community Engagement & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, guardians, and the school community, addressing concerns and fostering positive relationships.Communicate regularly with parents about school initiatives, student progress, and important events through various channels (e.g., newsletters, meetings, etc.).Collaborate with the Head of School and Academic Dean to engage in school-wide planning and initiatives.Act as an ambassador for the school, building strong relationships with local organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders.Operations & Resource Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the school's facilities, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.Manage school budgets, resources, and materials, working with other leadership members to allocate funds effectively.Coordinate school schedules, events, and activities to ensure a well-organized and balanced school year.Professional Development & Growth: Stay current with trends in education and leadership through continuous professional development.Participate in relevant educational conferences, workshops, and networks to enhance leadership skills and knowledge.Develop and deliver school-wide professional development for staff that is consistent with the school's mission, vision, and goals.Requirements Qualifications:Education: Master's degree in education leadership, administration, or a related field is highly preferred.Experience: At least 5 years of teaching experience and 3 years of school leadership experience, preferably in a private or independent school setting.Licensing/Certifications: Valid state certification in school leadership or administration (if applicable).#J-18808-Ljbffr
