Your Responsibilities:

  • Engage in prospecting and relationship-building to connect with new and existing clients, understanding their goals, and creating effective marketing campaigns.
  • Sell a range of customized solutions and digital advertising options.
  • Develop and present creative proposals and presentations.
  • Represent Cox Media at local business gatherings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes.

Who You Are:

You are a connector, thriving in ambitious environments where curiosity drives innovative ideas and solutions. You also possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience in a relevant area.
  • At least two years of experience in cable, broadcast, advertising sales/support, or marketing.
  • A proven ability to develop new business and meet individual sales goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Strong motivation, teamwork skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree in a related discipline.
  • A solid grasp of marketing principles and their applications in business.
  • Interactive Advertising Bureau certification and/or Google AdWords certification.

The position offers a salary range between USD 28,600.00 - 42,800.00, with the potential for annual incentives/commissions totaling USD 42,800.00 - 64,400.00. Additional benefits include generous vacation and wellness hours, as well as various forms of paid time off.
