Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

A typical day in the position would involve cycle counts, data entry, forklift driving, saw operation, and computer systems efficiency. Safety is the top priority at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.

• Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Handle materials and manage warehouse operations.

• Utilize computer systems for data entry and inventory management.

• Operate saws and other machinery as needed.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

• Forklift operation

• Warehouse experience

• Material handling

• Computer knowledge

• Math and reading skills (utilizing a ruler)

• Cycle counting

• RF scan

• Inventory control

• Shipping and receiving

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• 1+ years minimum warehouse and production experience in a metals facility or manufacturing-related facility.

• Experience with blueprints, construction, and water jet operations.

Work Environment

This is a production facility with high expectations for production numbers and efficiencies. The warehouse employs 150-160 full-time employees. Dress code includes jeans, t-shirt, steel-toed shoes, and PPE provided by the client. Shifts are as follows: 1st: 6am-2pm, 2nd: 2pm-10pm, 3rd: 10pm-6am. Employees are required to work 7 days per week for at least the next 3 months, with one Sunday off every 21 working shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Park City, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $20.20/hr.
