Field Service Engineer – Biomedical Devices

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be the trusted technical expert supporting hospitals and clinics throughout your territory—handling installation, preventive maintenance, repairs, and emergency service with precision and professionalism.

This is more than a technical role—it's an opportunity to work independently, build strong relationships with healthcare providers, and grow your expertise in cutting-edge medical technology. You'll also play a key role in expanding service coverage by supporting contract renewals and identifying new service opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert service for biomedical devices, including installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Perform system upgrades and ensure devices are operating at peak performance.
• Serve as a reliable technical resource for clinical teams, sales staff, and internal support groups—both in person and over the phone.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and ensure compliance with all quality procedures.
• Support service contract growth through renewals, quotes, and timely proposal follow-up.
• Manage inventory, tools, and company equipment to ensure rapid response and operational readiness.
• Continuously expand your knowledge through training and collaboration with senior engineers.

What You Bring:

• Associate degree (or equivalent) in electronics, instrumentation, digital systems or biomedical engineering.
• Prior experience in field service or hospital biomedical engineering preferred.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, repair, and calibration skills.
• Self-starter with excellent organizational abilities and minimal need for supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 70%) and be on call 24/7, including holidays.
