Responsibilities include project design participation, developing project plans, resource assessment, and managing project execution. We value collaboration, innovation, and support professional growth through various learning opportunities.Skills and attributes for success: Define project scope and schedule, ensuring regular delivery of valueLead project status meetings and organize team communicationsPrepare and distribute progress reportsManage risks, issues, and deviations; plan deliveries accordinglyDevelop initiatives for process improvements and monitoringGuide business decisions related to system implementation, modification, and maintenanceMaintain business process documentation for testing and trainingDefine and improve project management processes, promoting agile best practicesImplement and facilitate agile tools, guidelines, and metrics for standardized executionMonitor project costs, schedules, and quality standardsProvide technical analysis reports to support agency discussionsQualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of project management experience, with leadership in at least 3 successful projectsExperience managing IT projects, including system design and development in languages such as JavaScript and JavaKnowledge of API management, RESTful APIs, and cloud/on-premise environmentsExperience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, problem-solving, and algorithm designAt least 5 years managing Agile Scrum teamsExperience working with public agency interfacesMaster's Degree or project management certification preferredProgramming experience in Java, JavaScript, JBOSS Fuse, Angular JSExperience in health and human services domains is a plusKnowledge of full Agile SDLC practices and integration with financial systemsExperience with web/mobile development, large systems, or security software is advantageousIndustry certifications/licenses are desirableIdeally, candidates will also have client-facing communication skills and a federal security clearance.Our commitment: CGS aims to simplify government processes through innovative technology and skilled personnel.
