We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Assembly Technician to join our team. This full-time role requires proficiency in basic sheet metal work, riveting, and assembly methods, with a focus on assembling, modifying, and installing aircraft components and sub-assemblies. You will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are met and identifying nonconforming parts and processes. Responsibilities. Interpret and work with blueprints, specifications, and work orders to meet quality requirements. Gather necessary data to facilitate assembly progress. Set up and operate various shop equipment, including squeezes, drill motors, and countersink cutters. Troubleshoot problems and implement process improvements. Perform required rework and changes during the assembly process. Assemble major components of sub-assemblies, major assemblies, and smaller bench work assemblies. Move and obtain correct parts, materials, tools, and assemblies.
