Job Overview: This candidate will manage large scale projects at the organizational level. They will also facilitate and lead project teams in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
The candidate for this position will be responsible for:
Performing full business needs analysis, gathering business requirements and preparing business proposal documentation
Engaging in procurement related tasks with communication to external stakeholders
Developing comprehensive project plans including timelines, costs, resource requirements, and risk assessments
Working directly with project teams and managing projects from analysis through implementation, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
Providing effective change management by assessing impact of project changes, communicating changes to stakeholders and managing expectations
Leading project teams through effective communication including email, phone and virtual/in-person meetings
Monitoring project progress, tracking key milestones and providing regular updates to the Corporate Project Program Manager
Conducting post-project evaluations and identifying lessons learned for improvement and enhancing future project outcomes
Requirements for the position include:
Bachelor's degree in business or computer science related field
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in a corporate environment (medium to large-scale projects)
Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Ability to work late and/or flexible hours
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience with project management software tools (MS Project, Smartsheet etc)
Experience in software application deployment
