Responsibilities

This position is 100% onsite in Wichita, KS

At this time, Spirit AeroSystems is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Build and code solutions using tools such as C#, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Use knowledge of computing technology, programming languages, and software development life cycles to develop, program, maintain applications and application modules
  • Work directly with managers and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Support 24x7 on-call rotation with other team members
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2-4 years' related experience with a Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 6 years related experience without a degree
  • Knowledge of C#, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, .NET, XML, and SQL
  • Must meet Export Control compliance requirements; must be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15
  • Ability to perform on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes
  • Knowledge of Apriso, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), cloud computing, SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Script development skills
  • Windows server expertise/certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US Department of Defense clearance
