Lead as a Design Project Leader (DPL) where your impact defines how OEM projects are designed, delivered, and trusted. Work directly with OEMs, guiding teams to engineer harness solutions that outperform expectations.

What You'll Do:

• Lead OEM Projects: Partner directly with customers in turf, recreation, utilities, construction, and agriculture to design and estimate solutions that solve real-world challenges.
• Guide Teams: Lead a cross-functional group of 10–15 contributors, with 3–5 direct reports, ensuring collaboration across engineering, operations, and sales.
• Raise the Standard: Drive estimating turnaround
• Elevate the Experience: Serve as the trusted technical partner to OEM customers, leading high-value projects and aligning output with customer needs.
• Optimize Resources: Forecast staffing, tools, and training to scale design capabilities efficiently.
• Deliver Improvement: Implement lean processes, reduce costs, and create measurable value for both Electrex and our customers.

What Success Looks Like:

• =90% estimate accuracy with Consistent achievement of profitability targets.
• Positive customer experience (cNPS =50).
• Documented cost reductions and efficiency gains.
• Team members growing in skill, accountability, and leadership.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of engineering project management experience; manufacturing support background strongly valued.
• Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, or related).
• Knowledge of wire harness design and manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Proven project management experience leading engineering design initiatives from concept through delivery, ensuring technical excellence and customer alignment.
• Strong background using eCAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, Arcadia).
• Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional teams from engineering, sales, supply chain, and production to successful outcomes (10+ members, 3–5 direct reports).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with success in listening actively, engaging effectively, and cultivating shared understanding with OEM or manufacturing partners.
• On-site presence with a people-first leadership style.
