Iteris is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to design and develop web applications, APIs, and database solutions that provide data access and enhance user experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can work independently while being a valuable member of a Scrum development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead software development projects from conception to deployment.
• Create accurate estimates for project timelines and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with management, team members, and customers to gather user requirements and specifications.
• Design and implement efficient algorithms and workflows for software programs and systems.
• Write clean, elegant, and effective code in accordance with project specifications.
• Test, deploy, and optimize applications for maximum performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and enhance existing software applications.
• Collect and analyze user feedback to continuously improve software performance.
• Develop technical documentation to assist future software development endeavors.
• Mentor junior developers and assist in the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Respond to proposal requests (RFPs, RFIs, etc.) and provide technical expertise.
• Monitor customer systems and promptly address any arising issues.
• Minimal travel (less than two weeks a year).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience in responsive web design and programming, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Sass, Angular, and NodeJS, as well as familiarity with responsive frameworks like Bootstrap.
• Proficient in SQL databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs and endpoints.
• Skilled in database schema design and data ingestion.
• Familiar with map-based web development using MapBox, Google Maps, Apple Maps, or HERE.
• Preferred experience in iOS/Android app development with Swift, Kotlin, or Java.
• Proficient in Python scripting.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, Lambda, RDS, Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, and Amazon Polly.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira and Confluence, and familiarity with Scrum methodologies.

Iteris anticipates a base salary range of $109,500 to $121,900 for this role, plus quarterly commissions. Actual compensation may vary based on the individual's experience and skills.
