Laborer
Location: Wichita, KS
Reports To: Plant Manager
Seeking dedicated people with the desire to learn and build a career while exceeding the highest quality and safety standards. Plant laborers will ensure safe, efficient, and proper navigation of kiln operations and assist in the maintenance of the plant.

Roles & Responsibilities
* Perform preventative maintenance schedules according to company specifications.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Help to ensure the reliability and performance of our equipment by performing the outlined inspections.
* Safely perform pre-shift, post-shift inspections and report unsafe equipment conditions to supervisor.
* Maintain tools as required to perform job duties.
* Perform daily duties and any other job responsibilities as assigned by management, including helping the shop as needed.
* Proper PPE attire must be worn at all times.
Ability, Skills & Knowledge
* Demonstrates proficiency in difficult and high-pressure situations.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
* Basic hand tool knowledge.
* Ability to follow and add to safety culture to create a safe work environment.
* Ability to work well with others.
* Must be able to pass a background check, fitness for duty evaluation, and pre-employment drug testing.
* Must be able to work in a heavy industrial environment, exposed to weather elements and noise.
