Senior Master Data Governance/Management Consultant – EY (Location: Anywhere in Country)

Join EY's Analytics and Data team to help clients define and drive data management strategy and technology implementation. The role focuses on designing and applying comprehensive methods and tools to govern the entire lifecycle of data assets, conducting maturity assessments, and advising on tools and roadmaps for implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data governance frameworks aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build analytics solutions that deliver tangible business value.
  • Conduct maturity assessments to enhance data management capabilities across the organization.
  • Develop solutions to complex problems, including functional and technical design of master data management software.
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Guide clients in defining a data governance strategy covering data quality, data catalog, master data management, analytics use cases, AI/ML readiness, and integration with ERP/CRM applications.
  • Implement cutting‑edge data quality tools and processes to maintain impeccable data standards.
  • Engage in requirement gathering, interpret BD, and collaborate with system analysts to develop source‑to‑target mappings.
  • Perform thorough data reviews before migration into data warehouses and produce detailed technical specifications.
  • Lead multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Travel as required to engage directly with stakeholders and support impactful projects.

  • Understanding of data governance and enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or a related technical/scientific field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' direct involvement with MDM tools (SAP MDG, Informatica MDM).
  • ERP implementation experience, including full SAP implementation cycles with SAP MDG.
  • At least 3 years of relevant developer experience in master data management software.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles.
  • Experience with enterprise IT architecture.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Track record of successful stakeholder engagement.
