Warehouse Worker

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team for a 2nd shift opening, from 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday. This position is located onsite at a manufacturing facility and involves handling and moving products and parts. The role requires a strong understanding of inventory control and the ability to read and interpret work orders to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to move products and parts within the warehouse.
• Handle work orders and cycle counting efficiently.
• Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Utilize handheld devices to manage inventory and track work orders.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years recent forklift experience in a manufacturing or distribution warehouse setting.
• Active driver's license.
• At least 1 year of recent experience in inventory control or using handheld scanner guns.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with RF Scanner, Cycle Counts, Shipping, Receiving, Water Strider, Material Handling, and Inventory Control.
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

This position is onsite at the Beechcraft East side location in Building 20, within the Webb and Central area. The role mimics a typical warehouse position and requires wearing jeans, a T-shirt, and closed-toe shoes. While steel-toed shoes and PPE are preferred, they are not mandatory.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.60 - $18.60/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
