Description

*Recruit, interview, hire, and develop team member's performance; providing regular timely assessment and performs corrective coaching when necessary*Oversees the administration, management, and operations of the hospital's procurement supply management distribution program.*Facilitates the organization and management to achieve optimal patient appropriate resource utilization*Builds and maintains strategic relationships and high performing care delivery teams.*Manages conflict and competing imperatives.*Provides direction to ensure materials and supplies are maintained and distributed in compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements*Facilitates capital projects as needed*Creates a system to allow for accurate departmental forecasting and purchasing decisions.*Monitors supply cost variances and reports to necessary parties*Monitors and maintains operating budgets for their departments*Other duties as assigned

Requirements

*Demonstrates strong financial knowledge and management*Cognitive and technical knowledge and ability to progressively manage care delivery across the continuum of care.*Ability to retrieve, communicate, and present data and information both verbally and in writing.*Ability to use discretion and work autonomously within the confines of prescribed limits.
*Experience in Health Care buying and receiving (preferred).

*3-5 Years of Management Experience

*Familiar with regulatory requirements
