Night Shift Temporary Security Officer NITE RIDE Shuttle Service

• Operate the NITE RIDE shuttle service nightly following assigned routes/schedules.
• Report discrepancies, hazards, and unauthorized use; notify police division as needed.
• Use portable radio communication; operate body cameras and departmental vehicles.
• Use vehicle camera system and small electronics.
• Traverse campus in all weather conditions.

Schedule: 7 days/week: 8:30PM-4:30AM (Temporary employees limited to 29 hours per week/780 hours per fiscal year)

Location: Campus Safety, UCC and surrounding campus

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Valid Drivers license and ability to meet and maintain UI Driving Policy.
• Successfully complete a criminal background check.

• Ability to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor with the public that fosters good relations.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective communication skills, oral and written, to interact with people from various backgrounds and cultures.
