Description:

Customer Service Representative

Support sales goals of Farmers as communicated from the Agent to meet short and long-term goals for agency growth. This will include, but is not limited to; new business, cross-selling opportunities, customer service retention, and profit goals.

Responsibilities regularly performed:

  • Answering phone in a courteous manner
  • Aids in preparing annual review appointments
  • Cross-selling products through pivoting
  • Continual follow up on X dates (renewal dates) to set new prospect appointments
  • Utilizing APEX system continually to update policy and database information
  • Prepare thank you/welcome mailers for new households
  • Review cancellations and renewals on a weekly basis
  • Maintaining files on all new business accounts

Professional demeanor (in person and over the phone) Customer service skills Excellent verbal and written skills Great time management and prioritizing skills Must be dependable and take initiative Reliability Self-Driven Intermediate computer skills Social media savvy a PLUS
