The Behavior Support Specialist provides direct and consultative services to students and staff enrolled in the Supplemental Learning Center, which houses USD 262s Special Education Day School and 18-21-year-old programming. This position includes (a) delivering individual and group services; (b) building staff capacity in preventative, replacement, and reactive strategies; (c) leading de-escalation training and coaching; (d) supporting transition planning for students returning to neighborhood schools; and (e) facilitating collaborative problem-solving with school teams who may be considering Day School placement. Salary Information
USD 262 has a highly competitive salary schedule that allows all years of experience to be credited. We offer a base salary for teachers that ranges from $50,481 to $81,702 based on experience and/or credentials.

Benefits Information
USD 262 pays $512.00 per month for single and $717.00 for single+ toward the Health Insurance Premiums, if you choose to participate.
