What You'll Do:
+ Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
+ Work collaboratively with location management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a positive environment for visitors and staff.
+ Assist with access control and/or visitor management as directed by site procedures.
+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to patrons and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
