AVAILABLE POSITION: Administrative Assistant | Wichita, KS (In-Person)
COMPENSATION: $20 to $25 per hour (Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities)

Focus Mortgage and one of its brands, WeVett Home Loans, is a fast-growing business looking to add a proactive and detail-driven Administrative Assistant to our team. Do you enjoy bringing order to moving parts, keeping teams organized, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks? WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Monitor shared email inboxes, respond promptly, and route inquiries to the appropriate team members.
  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing by gathering required data and preparing information for accurate submission.
  • Coordinate and track onboarding tasks for new loan originators, processors, and team members.
  • Maintain organized records, checklists, and internal systems to keep team workflows running efficiently.
  • Support leadership by scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing communications.
  • Monitor open tasks across departments and follow up to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide general administrative support to enhance communication, consistency, and productivity across the organization.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

Must-Have Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting administrative operations or customer service functions.
  • Comfort learning new systems, software, and workflows.
  • High level of professionalism and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
  • Experience in mortgage, real estate, financial services, or a similar regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes or HR onboarding tasks.
  • Prior support of remote and hybrid team environments.
  • Experience working in Google Workspace or similar cloud-based platforms.
