Purpose Statement
To perform general and preventative maintenance to resolve immediate operational and/or safety concerns.
Responsibility
Responsibilities include: working under limited supervision following standardized practices and/or methods; providing information and/or advising others; and operating within a defined budget. Utilization of resources from other work units may be required to perform the job's functions. There is a continual opportunity to impact the Organization's services.
Working Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 70% walking, and 25% standing. The job is performed under some hazardous conditions. Work may be in any and all weather/temperatures and lighting conditions that require a job to be performed. May be required to wear protective equipment for exposure control under limited circumstances.
Education High School diploma or GED preferred
Qualifications Must be able to read, write and comprehend written and oral instructions
Must be a licensed driver in the state of Kansas - CDL a plus
Experience Experience in maintenance profession preferred
