Job Description

Engage in painting small aircraft parts within an experimental environment. This role involves bench-level work focused on fabrication and detailing of small aircraft components.

Responsibilities

• Paint small aircraft parts using appropriate techniques.
• Prepare parts for painting through sanding, detailing, and masking.
• Utilize spray guns for effective application of paint.
• Ensure quality through detailed inspection and touch-ups as necessary.

Essential Skills

• 3 years of experience with small aircraft parts.
• Proficiency in paint preparation and application.
• Experience with spray gun usage.
• Skilled in sanding and detailing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to mask and tap accurately.

Work Environment

The position is based in a non-climate controlled facility in Wichita, KS. The dress code is pants or shorts and a shirt, with no tank tops or cut offs allowed. This role operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00/hr.
