divh2Lounge Bartender/h2pThe Lounge Bartender will take orders, prepare, and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and light meals to guests, courteously and efficiently according to hotel specifications. He/she also will maintain stock/supplies and cleanliness of outlet and equipment./ppPotential Career Paths: FB Supervisor FB Manager Director of Food and Beverage-Director of Operations General Manager - VP of Food Beverage/ppKey Duties Responsibilities:/pulliMonitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas./liliMaintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in the assigned outlet./liliMaintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving./liliObtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies./liliAlways keep bank secure./liliMaintain complete knowledge of P.O.S. and manual systems./liliGreet guests and take their orders (food and beverage), utilizing suggestive/up-selling techniques./liliInput orders into system and ensure transmission is verified by Bartender/Kitchen./liliMonitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of tables, service areas and outlet itself./liliPresent guest checks and process payments through the Bartender/Cashier. Adhere to all cash handling and credit policies/procedures./liliClean and reset tables immediately after guests depart./liliCollect and report tips at the end of assigned shift./liliUse all chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and Hotel requirements./liliComplete all closing reports in the P.O.S. system./liliLegibly document maintenance needs on work orders and submit to Manager./li/ulpEducation and Experience:/pulliHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent./liliMinimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages./lili1-year experience as a Server or Barback preferred but not required./liliMust have good understanding of the English language./liliKnowledge of various drink recipes and beverage service standards./liliCertification of previous training in liquor, wine, and food service./liliCertification in an alcohol awareness program./liliCertification in CPR./liliAbility to input and access information in the property management system/computers/point of sales system./liliPrevious guest/customer relations training./li/ulpCrestline Hotels Resorts is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Affirmative Action Employer.
