Overview

Kansas Kids @ GEAR UP is a state-wide program serving students in foster care, grades 7-12 and first year in college. This is NOT a remote position - check the job location before applying!

Responsibilities

• Enter transcripts, program activities and any documentation to the Kansas Kids @ GEAR UP database.
• Monitor and track student academic progress, graduation, enrollment in college and FAFSA completion.
• Assist students with KKGU dual credit application, DCF tuition waiver application and credit recovery, if needed.
• This position may be asked to help with program activities.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: Completion of 60 credit hours of college coursework; At least one year experience working in an office setting.

Hire Type: Part Time

Pay: Range is $18,000-$20,000/yr, adjusted based on qualifications

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9:00am-12:00pm, 1:00pm-4:00pm with lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm

Export Compliance Requirement: No export control requirement.

Additional Information for Posting: 30 hours per week (60 per pay period). Set office hours: Mon-Fri, 9:00am-12:00pm, 1:00pm-4:00pm. Must be able to complete a State of Kansas Child Abuse and Neglect background check.
