As an Automotive Technician at CarMax, you will play a crucial role in repairing and reconditioning vehicles to meet our high-quality standards. Use your diagnostic skills to fix and prepare a range of cars—from engine repairs to steering adjustments and brake checks. Your essential responsibilities include:

• Inspecting, reconditioning, and repairing vehicles to guarantee our customers' safety and satisfaction.
• Collaborating with your team to quickly and effectively solve technical challenges.
• Gaining experience as an automotive mechanic on a diverse array of domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Upholding high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organizational practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience in one or more areas: engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning.
• Knowledge of health and safety compliance.
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina to lift heavy objects, along with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic workplace.
• Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Maintain ASE Certifications as required by State/Local law.
