Koniag IT Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Architect/Developer to lead the technical design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions. This role combines strategic architectural planning with hands-on development expertise to deliver innovative solutions for our government clients.

The Salesforce Architect/Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-level Salesforce solutions while providing technical leadership to development teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Architect and design scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and technical standards

• Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance to development teams

• Develop complex customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies

• Create and maintain technical documentation including solution design documents

• Establish best practices for development, security, and performance optimization

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical oversight of deliverables

• Evaluate new Salesforce features and technologies for potential implementation

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose technical solutions

• Manage integration architecture with external systems and third-party applications

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 8+ years of Salesforce development experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural roles

• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification

• Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations

• Advanced expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce development

• Strong understanding of Salesforce security models and sharing architecture

• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices

• Proven experience designing large-scale Salesforce implementations

• Strong knowledge of API integration patterns and middleware solutions

• Experience with data migration and ETL tools

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and leadership abilities

• Experience with Agile development methodologies

• Ability to obtain public trust clearance

Desired Skills and Competencies:

• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification

• Experience with government IT projects

• Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance requirements

• Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms

• Additional certifications in Salesforce specialty clouds

• Experience with AI/ML implementation in Salesforce

• Experience with GearSet

• Experience with GitHub

• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices

• Experience with change management in enterprise environments
