Vermillion Elementary School is seeking a Library Media Specialist for the 2026-27 school year. Candidates should hold, or be actively pursuing, a specialist endorsement as a Library Media Specialist.

Maize has much to offer educators who are new to the district as well as those new to the profession. All new teachers are paired with a qualified mentor, and both mentors and mentees are supported by our team of Student Support Specialists and Instructional Coaches. New teachers also participate in eight half-day professional development opportunities throughout the school year.

We encourage our teachers to continue learning and growing professionally. Professional learning days are thoughtfully planned and focus on relevant, timely topics. We also offer a professional learning series that qualifies for college credit, as well as tuition reimbursement toward a master's degree.

Safe, well-maintained facilities are another strength of the Maize School District. Through our partnership with the Maize Police Department, Resource Officers are assigned to many of our schools, and the district has invested in enhanced security features.
