Pipe Welder

A Pipe Welder performs any of the following duties on construction projects, sometimes working in varying capacity when required:

1. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
2. Prepare materials, including cutting, grinding, beveling and layout.
3. Perform high-quality welding on pipe and structural steel using multiple welding processes, including SMAW (stick) TIG and MIG with various materials.
4. Operate tools and equipment such as torches, grinders, saws and lift equipment safely and effectively.
5. Weld and Fabricate to support Commercial and Civil construction projects.
6. Other duties as necessary for the successful execution of tasks related to the project, including the ability to lift up and over 50 lbs.
