What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze complex case documentation and take appropriate actions utilizing established procedures
- Complete daily tasks including premiums, lock-ins, re-quotes, and responding to inquiries from producers
- Review pricing requests and apply underwriting analysis to ensure compliance with profitability and risk management guidelines
- Communicate and collaborate with brokers, agencies, and other sources regarding underwriting guidelines and decisions
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with brokers, consultants, and other internal and external partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Seasoned underwriting knowledge and expertise in structured settlement annuities and related regulatory requirements
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Financial aptitude for understanding pricing strategies and their potential impact on financial results
- Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion
- Must be located in the United States or Puerto Rico with access to high-speed internet
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or 4-7 years of annuity underwriting experience
- Significant experience in the structured settlement industry
