DETAILS: Staff Accountant
Title: Staff Accountant
LOCATION: La Vergne, TN
COMPENSATION: $65,000 - $70,000, strong benefits package on day 1, including significant annual bonus, over 5 weeks PTO first year, 401k match, much more.
We are looking for an Accountant to join an industry-leading organization to support key efforts for the accounting and financial team. This will be a hybrid working environment 3/2.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Staff Accountant

• ssisting in month end/closing the books for the prior month.
• Conducts detailed examination and assessment of operating statements, comparing actual results to budget and investigating and explaining variances.
• Conducts comprehensive analysis of key accounts, identifying and researching any unusual activity until a resolution is reached.
• Collaborates with operational management to analyze financial results and offers necessary support.
• Coordinates, reviews, and analyzes intercompany accounting activities.
• Gathers, analyzes, and summarizes account information to prepare monthly financial reports.
• Prepares and reviews monthly balance sheet reconciliations for specific accounts, including an analysis of reconciling items and supporting documentation.

REQUIREMENTS: Staff Accountant

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is the preference or (Advanced related Degree)
• t least 3 years of related accounting experience and participated in closing the books and month end activities.
