Business Systems Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Owner, business stakeholders, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for core banking applications (deposits, loans, payments, account services, etc.). Support commercial banking product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, data models, and integration patterns. Participate in POD ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to ensure timely and quality delivery of user stories and acceptance criteria. Create detailed functional and non-functional requirements, data mapping, process flows, and use cases to support development and testing. Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues during design, build, and testing phases. Conduct impact analysis for system changes and support regression and user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and data governance policies. Provide support for system integrations with commercial banking platforms, payment gateways, and financial services APIs. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and proposing automation or simplification opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Functional Consultant in Core or Commercial Banking environments. Hands-on experience with core banking systems Strong knowledge of commercial banking products - deposits, treasury, lending, cash management, payments, and account onboarding. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, working in a POD or squad-based setup with developers, testers, and POs . Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, SQL, and data mapping for system integrations . Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently across distributed teams. Understanding of APIs, microservices, and data flow between upstream and downstream banking systems .
