Technical Skills

Position's Contributions to Work Group:

- Program Manager responsibilities:
• managing department project management work with multiple business partners and Cat Digital sponsors to lead the creation of the program structure, define project charters/scope
• initial project management planning sessions for complex projects
• responsible for program execution, program's risks and financials.
• communicate program status to stakeholders as well as mentor project managers on methodology, escalation, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
• understand and explain all program costs
• establish capital projects; RFI and Monthly reporting
• review and report on financial status
• Maintain division scorecard
• Timesheet setup and reminders
• coordinate management of multiple related projects directed toward strategic business and organizational objectives partner with BU Partner for delivery of business outcome
• ensure strategic alignment of all project work to an approved program
• drive program's success and BU Partner and Sponsor satisfaction through program leadership and accountability
• assist project sponsors to define, track and initiate projects aligned to programs
• resolve conflicts and manage program risks and escalate as appropriate
• adhere to a standard methodology and quality processes
• mentor project managers
• Well documented program scope documents highlighting deliverables and value creation
• Regular stakeholder meetings to set realistic expectations
• Well managed issue escalations
• Programs managed to approved plan
• Updated deployment glide-paths, value creation and interdependencies
• Closing document indicating stakeholder's satisfaction and the extent to which deliverables were accomplished

Typical task breakdown:

- Program management around the commerce and enterprise search initiatives.

Interaction with team:

- Commerce : multiple integrations, working alongside the business team and software engineer teams and vendor.

Work environment:

- WFH: 75% teams meetings and 25% action items

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience Required:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information technology with 10+ years exp

- Master's degree needs a minimum of 8+ years

- Associates degree with a minimum of 15+ years' experience and PMP Certification

- PMP Certification is required for all levels.
