Civil Project Manager (Hybrid - Texas)
Location: Texas (Hybrid - minimum 2 days/16 hours in office per week after initial 90-day training period)
Compensation: Starting at $130,000+, based on experienceAbout the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure and utility projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and public sector clients. This is a key role for a motivated, technically strong, and people-focused professional who excels at driving results while supporting a culture of quality, accountability, and partnership.What You'll Do

  • Manage utility and municipal public works projects from planning through delivery
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and design teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for public sector clients and stakeholders
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and contract requirements
  • Prepare and review engineering designs, plans, and specifications using Civil 3D
  • Mentor junior engineering staff and contribute to talent development
  • Support proposal development and business development efforts
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, permitting, and best practices
Required Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas, or ability to obtain within 3 months
  • 4+ years of project management experience in utilities or municipal public works
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong leadership, client communication, and team management skills
  • Highly organized and effective at prioritizing multiple active projects
  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with strong decision-making ability
Sample Project Types
You will have exposure to diverse, high-impact infrastructure work including:
  • Water & wastewater systems
  • Stormwater modeling & drainage
  • Roadway, trail, and sidewalk projects
  • Utility relocations and coordination
  • Major public infrastructure and mobility initiatives
Recent project examples include expressway utility relocations, downtown streetscapes and trail systems, multimodal transit corridor stormwater improvements, wastewater interceptor systems, and multi-phase citywide sidewalk projects.Why You'll Love This Role
