Our client aims to revolutionize retail with AI-powered sales solutions integrated into both physical and online stores. As a pre-revenue startup, we seek a dynamic CTO to lead our technology strategy and execution.

Job Summary

We are looking for a visionary CTO to develop a strategic technology vision and inspire our tech team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI and/or retail technology, experience integrating third-party software, and ensuring customer data security. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on leadership, and efficient resource management.

Key Responsibilities

• Technology Vision and Strategy:
  • Develop and execute the technical vision.
  • Integrate third-party software solutions to enhance our product offerings.
  • Ensure seamless integration of AI solutions with existing retail systems.
• Product Development:
  • Oversee the development and deployment of AI-powered sales solutions.
  • Optimize innovation and practical implementation for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead and develop the technology team, managing outsourced development partners.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, learning, and proactive problem-solving.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work with the CEO, Product Specialist, development team, and Chief of Sales to align technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Communicate technology strategy and progress to stakeholders.
• Customer and Data Security:
  • Implement security measures to protect customer data.
  • Address voice latency and cost-efficiency in AI solution deployment.
• Startup Experience and Adaptability:
  • Navigate startup challenges with a bootstrapping mindset.
  • Adapt to evolving business needs and contribute to strategic planning.

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5+ years in technology leadership roles, focusing on AI and/or retail technology. Experience with third-party software integration and managing outsourced teams.
• Skills: Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Familiarity with inventory management systems and e-commerce platforms.
• Personality: Transparent, eager to learn, energetic, proactive, and passionate about AI and retail transformation.
