JOB SUMMARY

The primary function of the Contractor, Markets Automation and Quality Assurance is to identify and automate manual processes within the Market Operations groups and build and support tools that support Market Operations.

Essential Functions
•Adapting Market Tools to meet changing requirements of business owners and comply with FERC regulations
•Design and automate processes to support Market Operations
•Partner with ITS and appropriate parties to coordinate efforts and ultimately provide a solution which is best for client
•Partner with ITS to ensure a cross functional team of staff (i.e. BA, BAM, QA, Testers), are available and part of the overall automation solutions
•Research, review and evaluate newer technologies on behalf of Market automation and design
•Acts as the Markets division voice to understand the technological requests and needs (hardware and software) of the Market Design and Market Operations departments as process improvements are developed and new markets changes are designed and implemented.
