Job Description:
About the Role:
We're looking for an analytically sharp, culturally fluent analyst to join Zeno's Data & Intelligence team. The Senior Analyst will be the insight engine behind Zeno's new business efforts, surfacing the data, patterns, and human truths that fuel strategy and inspire creative thinking.
This role sits at the intersection of numbers and narrative, bridging the gap between the data we add up and the story it adds up to. Armed with audience, brand, category, competitive, and cultural intelligence, you'll decode what's happening in the world, why it matters, and how it should shape the story we tell next.
Responsibilities:
- Manage components of research design, data structuring, data analysis, and insight workflows to ensure deliverables meet strategic objectives and quality standards.
- Assess media and/or social coverage for prospects, competitors, and categories to identify emerging narratives, sentiment, share of voice, risks, whitespace, and opportunity territories.
- Use audience intelligence platforms to craft data-driven personas that reveal who the brand must reach and what will actually move them.
- Synthesize audience intelligence, cultural signals, media trends, brand, and category inputs into sharp, actionable insights that fuel strategic planning, creative development, and earned-first ideas.
- Present findings clearly to internal teams and senior stakeholders, translating data into strategic recommendations.
- Manage multiple fast-moving workstreams with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
Qualifications - 3+ years in analytics, insights, media intelligence, or communications measurement within PR, marketing research, or agency/consulting.
- Experience coordinating integrated research and analytics workstreams and partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methods and their application to communications and brand challenges.
- Hands-on experience with media monitoring, audience intelligence, social listening platforms, and secondary research tools (e.g. Muck Rack, StatSocial, Resonate, MRI, Talkwalker, Mintel, Foresight Factory and/or others)
- Strong data analysis, visualization, and storytelling skills. Capable of building clean, insightful charts and shaping a narrative through data (Intermediate+ proficiency of Microsoft Excel and pivot tables required).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, highly analytical, and curious about consumer behavior, culture, and emerging trends.
- Ability to think creatively, navigate ambiguity, adjust direction quickly, and deliver under rapid-turnaround conditions.
- Able to read the data and the room, balancing analytical rigor with strategic awareness and situational nuance.
Level 04
