Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to play a critical role in the modernization and ongoing evolution of its enterprise eCommerce platforms. This position supports large-scale, business-critical digital applications and is a key contributor to broader digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on senior engineer with strong experience building modern, cloud-native web applications specifically (GCP) and the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack eCommerce applications using Next.js, React.js, and Java (Spring Boot)
  • Lead implementation of complex features across frontend and backend services
  • Contribute to architecture decisions with a focus on performance, security, and scalability
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services supporting enterprise workflows
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and production support
  • Partner with product owners, UX designers, and business stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to mid-level developers
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and engineering best-practice initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Next.js and React.js
    • Java Spring Boot
    • Microservice
  • Experience building enterprise-scale web or eCommerce applications
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
  • Experience in cloud-native environments (GCP, AWS and Azure)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting high-volume, transactional eCommerce platforms
  • Knowledge of application security best practices
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Prior involvement in architecture or technical standardization efforts
