Job Summary - Senior .Net Developer (CR285)

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-class web applications using C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL-based databases.
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring best practices in architecture and development.
- Architect and implement discrete functions and modules within policy systems (e.g., Quote Management, Policy Operations, Billing Center, Premium & Payroll).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver multi-phased projects including quoting, binding, renewals, pricing, policy administration, reporting, and billing.
- Utilize modern development technologies and frameworks such as Entity Framework, JavaScript (including jQuery, AJAX), HTML, CSS, LINQ, WPF, WCF, and WF.
- Perform hands-on coding, code reviews, and unit testing to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies based on evolving product needs and industry trends.
- Author and maintain technical design and architecture documentation.
- Provide accurate work estimates, contribute to process improvements, and support project profitability.
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards, participate in Agile development processes, and promote innovation within the team.
- Develop reports using various report generation tools and languages.
- Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders regarding technical feasibility and project progress.
- (Preferred) Apply prior insurance industry experience and Microsoft certifications to enhance product delivery.
