Job Summary
The Coordinator of Engagement Marketing will support engagement marketing efforts across MHz Choice, Kino Film Collection, and other Kino Lorber products by helping to develop, execute, and optimize SEO-driven strategies and content initiatives. Will be workingto grow awareness, drive organic traffic, and deepen audience engagement across digital channels. This role will report to the Director, Engagement Marketing.The ideal candidate has a strong interest in content strategy, search optimization, and digital storytelling.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Engagement Marketing
Draft, edit, and proofread marketing copy for blogs, landing pages, and other owned channels.
Help manage the content calendar, ensuring alignment with campaign and brand priorities.
Manage YouTube assets, including uploading, optimizing metadata, maintaining playlists, and ensuring brand consistency.
Research trends, topics, and audience interests to inform new content opportunities.
Support cross-promotion initiatives across MHz Choice, Kino Film Collection, and Kino Lorber's broader portfolio.
Assist with email marketing efforts, including editorial newsletters and automated campaigns, as needed.
SEO (or similar technology) & Website Content
Support optimization of on-page SEO elements including meta tags, headings, and internal linking.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across web content.
Conduct keyword research and provide recommendations for content development.
Social Media Support
Assist with organic social posting and scheduling as needed.
Monitor engagement, comments, and audience interactions.
Track performance metrics to inform future strategies.
Background & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
1–2 years of experience in SEO, content marketing, or digital marketing (internships included).
Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, or similar).
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress.
Understanding of social media platforms and their role in audience engagement.
Ability to analyze data and translate into actionable insights.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Team player with a proactive mindset and eagerness to learn.
This position is hybrid and can be based in either the NY metro area or in the DC metro area.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Frequently communicates with co-workers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Occasional travel for company events and meetings.
Salary Range: $50,000 to $60,000 annually based on experience.
