Job Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and support enterprise-scale software solutions with a strong focus on IBM Transformation Extender.
• This role serves as a subject matter expert for healthcare EDI mapping, system integrations, and CI/CD-enabled deployments while supporting high-visibility production systems and mentoring junior engineers.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum five years of software development experience.
• Ten or more years of hands-on experience with IBM Transformation Extender
• Strong experience building and modifying ITX maps and type trees.
• Experience working with healthcare EDI transactions including 837, 834, 835, 270, 271, 276, 277, 999, and 277CA.
• Experience with IBM Transformation Extender Advanced and REST APIs.
• Experience using adapters including file, MQ, database, and SOAP.
• Experience running and deploying ITX maps using consoles and integration servers.
• Strong experience integrating ITX with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Experience with communication protocols such as SFTP, HTTPS, and FTPS.

• Five or more years of professional software development experience.
• Ten or more years of IBM Transformation Extender experience.

• Design, code, test, and support enterprise-level software applications.
• Develop and maintain interface designs and integration documentation.
• Perform software analysis, requirements gathering, and use-case development.
• Build and test software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Provide technical support for critical production systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and problem resolution efforts across teams.
• Develop and deploy ITX maps, type trees, and REST-based workflows.
• Support CI/CD, testing, and release processes for integration solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Participate in Agile development ceremonies and sprint delivery.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with IBM Integration Bus, IBM Sterling B2Bi, and IBM Sterling File Gateway.
• Strong background in Agile and DevOps environments.
