We are seeking an experienced AMT Structures Technician to support heavy structural maintenance and repair on corporate aircraft in a high-quality, compliance-driven environment. This role is ideal for technicians with a strong sheet metal and structural repair background, hands-on experience beyond basic installations, and a commitment to precision, safety, and workmanship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform heavy structural and sheet metal repairs on corporate aircraft Interpret and work from engineering drawings, SRMs, AMMs, blueprints, and technical documentation Execute complex repairs including skin repairs, structural replacements, doublers, and corrosion remediation Fabricate and install aircraft structural components to required tolerances Drill, deburr, countersink, rivet, and fasten assemblies using proper aviation techniques Perform layout, measuring, and fitting of structural components Identify structural damage and work with engineering and inspection to determine corrective actions Use precision measuring tools to verify compliance with engineering specifications Ensure all work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, and quality standards Properly document completed work and inspection requirements
Requirements
5+ years of corporate aircraft structures experience Heavy structures / sheet metal background required Candidates with installation-only experience will not be considered Valid FAA Airframe (A) license required Strong experience with structural repairs, not limited to interior or modification installs Proficiency with aircraft sheet metal tools and equipment Ability to read and interpret complex engineering documents and blueprints Working knowledge of aircraft materials including aluminum alloys and related fasteners Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting corporate or business jet aircraft Familiarity with repair schemes involving skins, frames, ribs, and stringers Prior experience working in a regulated MRO or service center environment
