Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: MRI registered Certifications: GE equipment experience preferred Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. MRI registered Description: Travel MRI Tech position available. The unit operates with 3 MRI machines. Total staff consists of 12 members. During the day shift, there are 5 techs. The night shift has 2.5 techs on the second shift and 1 tech on the third shift. Patient volumes for the month of April showed an average of 32 MRI exams per day. Typical procedures performed in this unit include MRIs and MRAs on all body parts except the breast. Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, engaged, and easy to get along with. The department is well-equipped, featuring two new MRI machines. Teamwork and staff collaboration are highly valued. This is a busy MRI department with an emphasis on excellent patient care.
