Our client, a prominent Amlaw 50 global law firm, isseeking a driven Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Cybersecurity & Incident Response Practice. This role offers the opportunity to advise clients on complex cybersecurity, privacy, and technology-related matters, including direct incident response, regulatory analysis, counseling, transactions, data impact assessments, and crisis management. The position is ideal for an attorney who is eager to work within a sophisticated, fast-paced international platform, advising clients across the technology, finance, life sciences, and energy sectors.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in the applicable jurisdiction, in good standing
• 2-4 years of substantive experience in cybersecurity/privacy matters in a technology-focused practice, with a strong preference for direct incident response experience
• Proven experience helping clients strategically prepare for and reduce the risk of security incidents
• Excellent research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
• Commitment to professional excellence and a collaborative team mindset

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel clients on direct incident response and manage data and privacy crises
• Provide guidance to clients on the rapidly-evolving landscape of cybersecurity laws and regulations
• Offer insights on security aspects of strategic corporate transactions
• Advise security teams on the emerging legal issues surrounding offensive security and dark web intelligence gathering
• Oversee forensic investigations, manage regulatory and litigation risks, and craft communication strategies to protect legal standing and brand reputation
• Assist clients with cybersecurity readiness, governance, and overall risk mitigation
• Collaborate closely with attorneys across practices to provide integrated and strategic client support

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary: Expected annual base salary ranges from $235,000 to $310,000, as determined by experience and market factors
