We are hiring an experienced professional to work remotely and design, develop, test, and maintain PLC-based automation systems. This role involves working with PLCs, HMIs, Flow Computers, Loading Controllers, and other industrial automation devices. You will also prepare documentation such as control narratives, cause & effect matrices, and data maps while troubleshooting issues during system startup and commissioning.
Location: Join our dynamic team in Texas, This is a remote role that requires up to 50% travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and technical support for process control, instrumentation, and measurement technologies.
- Work with PLCs & HMI software, including Allen Bradley, Schneider Electric, and others.
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot automation programming code.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain field devices such as transmitters, VFDs, soft-starters, flow computers, and loading controllers.
- Support truck loading systems, with experience in TMS, Multiloads, and Acculoads being a plus.
- Read and review P & ID diagrams, electrical schematics, and design drawings.
- Lead or support system installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting on-site.
- pply electronics knowledge to diagnose and restore malfunctioning equipment.
- Troubleshoot wiring and programming issues during project startup.
