Job Description - Oracle ERP Cloud Financials Techno-Functional Specialist

Location: United States (EST or CST time zones), Harrisburg (PA) preferable

Engagement Details:

• Contract Duration: 1 year, will extend for 2-5 years based on extension

• Work Hours: EST or CST business hours, with flexibility for critical issues

• Travel: Minimal, occasional workshops or governance meetings

Role Overview:

The Oracle ERP Cloud Financials Techno-Functional Specialist will provide production support and subject matter expertise across key financial modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Cash Management (CM). This is a techno-functional role, requiring strong knowledge of finance processes, integrations, and technical documentation. The specialist will collaborate with finance, ERP, and retail teams to troubleshoot issues, support integrations, perform testing, and ensure the stability and compliance of financial operations.

Experience / Skills Required:
• Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud Financials (GL, AP, AR, CM)
• Experience in business/systems analysis within finance processes
• Knowledgeable about RFI integrations to ERP Cloud
• Experience with integration to Oracle MFCS and other Oracle ERP Cloud applications
• Experience understanding system architecture and providing consulting support
• Experience analyzing issues and recommending configuration and setup changes
• Experience modifying project documentation (security role changes, setups, technical integration specifications)
• Experience with Oracle POS (Point of Service) integration (v14.0.1) and future Xstore implementation
• Experience supporting interfaces to Oracle MFCS
• Experience analyzing and supporting Oracle patch testing cycles (monthly, quarterly, semiannual)

Tasks To Be Performed / Skillsets Required:
• Work with production support teams to analyze root causes of finance-related issues
• Provide consulting support for overall ERP Cloud Financials architecture
• Recommend configuration and setup changes for ERP Financials applications
• Support changes and testing of POS and Xstore integrations
• Support interfaces to Oracle MFCS for financial transactions
• Modify project documentation such as security roles, application setups, technical integration specs
• Provide guidance on patch testing and regression testing cycles
• Translate business requirements into out-of-the-box Oracle ERP Financials solutions and provide recommendations

Years' Experience Desired:
• Overall 12+ Years of IT experience

• 5+ years with Oracle ERP Cloud Applications

• 5+ years with Oracle ERP applications

Certification Preferred:
• Oracle ERP Cloud Financials certification
