Job Title: Sanitation Worker Job Description

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Sanitation Worker at our brand-new facility in Wichita, Kansas. As the number one company in the handheld pie industry, we are expanding and looking for motivated, hard-working, and values-driven individuals to join our team. This is an entry-level position that requires no previous experience, and we are eager to train the right person. Join us in producing and packaging our delicious pies as part of our growing family.

Responsibilities

  • Perform any combination of hands-on or mass production of pies or other baked goods.

  • Read staff and daily production/manufacturing schedule and report to the appropriate department on time while fully understanding the daily expectations, requirements, or specifications.

  • Follow good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and audit/food safety requirements and guidelines.

  • Properly fill out documentation and QCQA records that measure daily performance and completion details as applicable.

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation.

  • Report any product deficiencies, food, or safety concerns to Line or Production Supervisor.

Essential Skills

  • Must be 18 years of age.

  • Ability to work overtime and be flexible with the schedule based on customer needs.

  • Basic reading and writing skills.

  • Capability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Hard-working, dependable, with a positive attitude, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.

  • Ability to lift and/or push 50 or more lbs., continuously throughout the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in production, general labor, packaging, general production, and sanitation is advantageous.

  • Ability to perform janitorial duties and maintain cleanliness in production areas.

  • Experience in food production and handling FDA regulations is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in our bright, brand-new, climate-controlled facility with tall ceilings and plenty of room for growth. The environment is wet/humid, and protective gear is provided, requiring standing, lifting, and crouching during long periods. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
