ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Bismarck, North Dakota. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (days) or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (nights) • Day/night rotation will not occur more than weekly • Every other weekend requirement • Holiday coverage as needed • 30-bed medical surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 (days) and 1:5-6 (nights) • Care for patients with total joint replacement, spinal surgery, urology procedures, abdominal surgery, bariatrics, and medical overflow • Experience with post-operative care, early ambulation, hemovacs, JP drains, and colostomies • Manage PCA pumps, occasional heparin drips, and TPN • Float to medical and telemetry units as needed • Work with remote telemetry packs with monitor tech support • Bedside shift report required • Any color scrubs permitted • BLS certification required • EPIC charting system • BSN not required • Surgical experience preferred, open to first-time travelers • Must live more than 50 miles from facility Facility: This healthcare organization is a leading medical center providing comprehensive acute care services including Level 2 trauma care.
