Production Control Coordinator

Job Summary:

The production control coordinator coordinates and expedites the flow of work, from beginning to end, as well as communication and material movement between departments within the business.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain product configurations within the ERP System
• Create and maintain Bill of Materials & Operation Routings
• Independently resolve production, inventory planning and forecast issues
• Monitor production schedule for delays and bottlenecks
• Ensure flow of material within the business, research critical shortages
• Coordinates with the production team to execute scheduled plan
• Maintain effective communications with all support groups to ensure that proper attention is given to the manufacturing process
• Forecast capacity requirements
• Analyze safety stock requirements as well as MRP order actions
• Review MRP exception messages and take appropriate action
• Create work order packets on time in order to meet production schedule
• Review, close and scan work orders in a timely manner
• Review customer orders for schedule acceptance
• Identify excess and obsolete inventory and implement actions to disposition it
• It is the responsibility of all ASC employees to comply with all Safety requirements of the position and the facility.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good MS Office skills
• Proven work experience with a high level of detail and accuracy.
• Ability to solve problems effectively
• Must have advanced interpersonal communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Knowledge of standard office equipment, ie: computer, 10 key, copier etc.

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
• 3 - 5 years' production control experience in a manufacturing environment
