American Traveler is seeking a RN with at least 1 year of postpartum experience for a Mother Baby Unit position in Kansas, requiring KS or compact license and BLS certification.

Job Details

• Work in the Mother Baby Unit within a hospital setting,
• Care for postpartummothers and newborns,
• 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30,
• 13-week assignment,

Job Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license,
• At least 1 year of postpartum RN experience,
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,
• NRP certification from AHA or American Academy of Pediatrics preferred,
• MOAB Moderate Risk De-escalation training preferred,
• Verification through Nursys and primary source documentation required,
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US residential address,

• Care for postpartum mothers and their newborns, including ongoing assessment and education,
• Local candidates accepted with a reduced rate according to radius rule,
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs,
• No COVID vaccination required,
